Based on AI Workflow, let’s see how to create a story step by step.
1. Find Your Idea
- A good story starts with a good idea.
- We also offer a Spark feature that gives you a random story idea. You can use it as is or modify it to fit your own direction.
- I strongly recommend reading the blog 8 Smart Ways to Write a Great Children’s Story and following it step by step to build a complete script — AI drafts can sometimes be generic or dull, so adding your unique touch really matters.
- Think about what you want to write. It can be a character, a theme, or just a funny scene!
2. Click “Generate” to Start
The AI will generate a basic script, but you should enrich it further:
- Add background and setting details.
- Clearly define the characters and their roles.
- Break the story into paragraphs for better readability.
Recommended Sample Structure
You can use this as a prompt with GPT to ensure consistent output. Once your script is ready, you’re good to move on to the next step.
3. Choose Illustration Style and Layout
- Pick a visual style that matches your story’s mood (e.g., sketch, watercolor, vector).
- Choose an illustration ratio (e.g., 1:1 square, 16:9 landscape, 4:3 portrait).
- We will automatically adjust the text and image layout based on your selection.
- Click Next to continue.
4. Generate Characters
The AI will automatically analyze your story and generate character cards. Each card includes:
- A visual representation
- A brief description of the character
You can:
- Edit the character description for more accurate results.
- Upload an image as a reference.
- Click Generate to update your cards.
5. Generate Illustrations
- AI will create illustrations for each page.
- You can preview them one by one.
- Use the Edit tool to refine, or edit later in the full editor.
6. Add Audio
(Optional) — You can choose an AI voice to narrate your story.
- Click Set Voice to enter the Audio tab.
- Use AI Recommend to suggest the best TTS model.
- Add a prompt to enhance the voice output.
- Switch between different models, use filters, or adjust prompts.
- Click Set to apply your chosen voice. (This may take time.)
7. Full Layout Editor
At the last step of AI workflow, click Finish to enter the Editor.
Here, you can continue editing:
- Story text
- Narration audio
- Illustrations

8. Publish or Share
- Click Share to get a private link of your story.
- Click Publish to submit your story for public release.
- Review process = up to 3 business days.

✅ Once approved:
- You’ll receive a confirmation email.
- Your story will appear in the Giggle Academy Library.
