This set of 12 cards teaches the same colour words as Colours Flashcards Set A. However, with these cards you can teach colour + noun sentence patterns. Since most of the vocabulary is simple, you don’t have to pre-teach all the nouns in the pictures. Just let the students practice the vocabulary they already know.

In mixed level classes, higher level students can choose the more difficult words like football, spider, or pajamas. In lower level classes, you can skip these words altogether and work only with the easier objects like dress, dog, cat, car , etc. Regional Spellings PLEASE NOTE: Two spelling variations appear in this set: colour / color grey / gray The preferred spellings in American English are: color, gray. The British English ‘ colour’ and ‘ grey’ are the preferred spellings in Canada as well. Both gray and grey are acceptable spellings in Canada, but color is not.
